"Flutter Away" winner of the Moyglare Stud Stakes, 1987

Ridden by Michael Kinane (b 1959) who had a 34 yr long international career highlighted by many wins in Ireland, the UK, France, Australia, and the US. Named "Irish Champion Jockey" on 13 occasions.

Kinane and "Flutter Away" were trained by the famous Irish racing trainer Dermot K Weld. Weld a well known trainer is second to Willie Mullins who just surpassed him holding the record for the most winners trained in Ireland.
Weld was depicted in the film "The Cup". Signed J. O'Connor and dated 1987 lower right.
