Belgians Testing the Pull

American, b. 1952 Alexa King Born in Muncie, Indiana came to her art at an early age. Beginning with study at the Art Students League in Indianapolis, Alexa developed an eye for form and dynamism which she expressed through pastels, oils and particularly sculpture. Alexa had her first solo art exhibition at the Morris Douglas Fine Arts in Scottsdale, Arizona. This exhibit kickstarted her career and lead her into her path as a world renowned sculptor. King's ability to capture the unique vitality and essence of her living subjects in bronze has brought her national renown and made her work some of the most sought after by discriminating collectors. King's most recent commission is the sculpture of Barbaro on display at Churchill Downs. Belgians, Testing the Pull.
