A fine original oil on board signed by the artist D. Sherriff and dated '79 at lower right. I have not found much on this artist, but the scene is well known. It is world famous triple crown winning race horse Seattle Slew with his familiar jockey Jean Cruguet. Enclose the actual event, the Preakness in1979. You can see that Slew is the 8 horse and Cruguet has the same silks
on.
